Venue: Longford Demesne Wood, Beltra, West Co. Sligo
About the day: The day will focus on native pollinators in a natural conservation site setting. 
After a brief discussion following a slide show. The workshop will explore: 
Meadows, 
Native riparian hedgerows in this RDS Irish Forestry, 
Biodiversity Award winning old wood/forest. 

Round off the day by assembling our observations into a resource map of the site for discussion.

                                           gates on the right. Down into the valley and the cluster
                                           of houses, and the white marquee on the lawn and a 
                                           sign for Longford Demesne Wood Walkers. You're here
                                           Only five minutes off the main road. Large parking area

Any other stuff!                  Our insurance cover restricts us to hosting adults 
                                          only. The old estate is not suitable for young people.
                                          Also, with all the wildlife, foxes, hares, badgers, 
                                          ground nesting birds, living here, we cannot allow dogs
                                          on the site

It is very exciting because, we understand that it is the first of its kind in Co. Sligo.
