Management:  A great low growing grassland perennial. will grow where there are gaps and self seeds readily.  Keep from being smothered and the grass must be cut

Management:  A plant of acid dry shaley soils. Often found after a forest is clear felled, or when a bracken field is burned.

Found Growing with Foxgloves, Wood Sage, Bracken and Bent grass.

Life Cycle (Form): Biennial. Has fleeting habit will persist if soil is free of competition.

Management: As per annuals, a bit of a weed but excellent at attracting butterflies, especially as many Butterflies are about earlier and later in the winter, when this plant is flowering.
