legal study is a survey of recent regulatory and case-law developments in
international and Community law concerning procedures for assessing the effects
of transport projects and their impact on biodiversity. The
scope and limits of the legal instruments currently in force at national and
international level are highlighted with respect to the impact of transport
networks on flora and fauna and their habitats. The
author uses this descriptive study as a starting point for suggesting a
procedural structure that could be used as a basis for new legislation in this
field at national and international level. |
