The Wildflower seed mixtures we produce for Munster, are
mainly for acidic soils in high rainfall areas. As many soils in the region are
fertile and have a good dept of soil.
West Cork and Kerry mountains as
well as uplands in Waterford all have acid wet soils in winter, these can dry
out in summer, for such sites our product:MM11 is ideal.
There are very dry areas mainly
by the sea such as Skibbereen or Skull, for such places mixture such as EC06,
MM03.
Co. Clare has two very distinct soil Ph types, alkaline on or near the Burren and acid from Doolin southwards. West of the Shannon to loop head tends to have some alkalinity.
Limerick is mainly alkaline (with lime) but the uplands and East are more acidic
