In 2002 and 2003 Sandro Cafolla of DBN (Ire) is the keynote speaker at INTO's
environmental summer school on school gardening. INTO Irish National Teachers
Organisation have their summer environmental school to train teachers to
introduce Environmental and nature education.
The 'sustainable' use of School Gardens and Parks for Education
Seed mixtures for schools can be cut in June or July when school finishes and again in early July
and allow to flower for September, when the children are back at school.

Our outreach education program started in the mid 1980's, In 1987 during European Year of the Environment (EYE), under the banner EduCat, our Environmental Education Catalogue, we provided many talks around
Ireland to raise environmental awareness. School children responded the most to our message that through direct action we will make a change.
Today some of Ireland's best growers, gardeners, ecologists and environmentalists were inspired by our actions and information.
EduCat was one of the early pioneers in creating school wildlife gardens and that's where we are today - the main supplier of wildflowers to Irish schools.
