Couriers: via  Co. Laois.  Do not deliver to Borris courier depots in Co. Carlow, address courier deliveries Via Port Laois. Deliveries can be left at Crettyard Post Office. Notice: If you or your vehicle have been visiting a farm or garden in the two weeks prior to delivering to DBN especially if soil is attached to the body of the vehicle:  Do not enter any Horticultural sections of the premises. Directions: 

From Dublin; M50, turn of at Red cow roundabout, to southeast/ south exit on to N7, drive straight past Naas, onto M7, Then M9 , take M9 to exit 3 to Castlecomer/Athy to Athy town in Co. Kildare and straight through Athy on the N78 to Ballylinen to Newtown Cross, keep straight to on N78, but about 2 miles past newtown crossroads, you will come too CRETTYARD, See Garage on left, and then take a left on the R431 to Carlow (post office is on right), immediately on the R431, after the first 5 bungalows on right , take 1st right turn, go up hill for 2.4 miles, past about 15 houses, keep going into the forestry zone, avoid lanes and farm entrances.  In amongst the forest trees, there are two houses on right, were the second one, right on the road, a stone cottage, with Large Barn with windows and steel door....If you get to the 4 cross roads (with yield signs) you have just past us. If the weather is fine you will see the windmill farm.

From Kilkenny; Find Crettyard, which is halfway between Castlecomer and Carlow Town on the N78/ R431.    At the junction of N78 and R431, (Accident Black Spot) that is Crettyard.  At Crettyard Post office in Crettyard turn on to R431 to Carlow and take the very first right turn after 5 bungalows on right, go up hill for 2.4 miles, past about 15 houses, keep going into the forestry zone, avoid lanes and farm entrances.  In amongst the forest trees, there are two houses on right, were the second one, right on the road, a stone cottage, with Large Barn with windows and steel door.... From Carlow; Go to Carlow town Ring Road and travel North towards Portlaois but stay on the ring road to the Castlecomer Roundabout. at roundabout the last of the ring road take R431 to Castlecomer, on through Killeshin and straight out past Behans Bar (on Left) keep straight, take no turns until 1/2 mile past Behans Bar on R431 to Mayo/Doonan Church.  A road sign should point to St Abbans Track,  Turn left in front of the Mayo/donane church uphill past St Abban's Track, two mile uphill to 4 crossroads and turn right were are the first on the left.

If you get to Crettyard Post Office you have gone to far, turn back and take first right.

Our Seed House and Gene Bank nursery is situated high up on the Castlecomer plateau at 1000 feet above sea level, by placing ourselves at the top of a mountain, we can grow cool temperate plants out of season to extend the planting season.
